Frequently Asked Questions
How long will my brick last?
Your brick is intended to be a lasting recognition of your support. It will remain in place for the lifetime of the brick, or of the building and surrounding area where it is installed.
In cases where operational or safety considerations require changes, the Zoo reserves the right to remove, relocate, or return bricks to donors.
In the event this occurs, we will notify the donor, provided we have up-to-date contact information on file.
What happens if my brick is damaged?
Minor cracks, stains, weathering, dirt, or signs of foot traffic are normal and are considered part of the brick’s charm. Bricks showing normal wear will not be replaced. If a brick breaks completely, it will be replaced within the first two years after installation.
